Choose the task before the output mode
Copy for a Taiwan audience may need regional wording as well as Traditional characters. In this test, 软件 becomes 軟件 in character mode and 軟體 in vocabulary mode. They are different settings, not a universal verdict on acceptable Chinese.
We keep the input identical and change only the target: tw for Taiwan characters, twp for Taiwan vocabulary. The full translator offers both; the apex quick tool defaults to Taiwan vocabulary.

A practical delivery checklist
Keep the original, select the target mode, inspect changes, check the product glossary, and read the complete sentence. Direct quotations, Hong Kong copy and brand-specific wording may require a different approach.
The highlighter aligns text; it does not expose dictionary provenance or automatically classify character changes versus vocabulary changes. Long passages may use a labeled block-level comparison. Treat highlights as a review aid, never as a correctness score.
