Scope and contact
This policy covers aquamoon.app and translate.aquamoon.app, maintained through the AquaMoon/Yijiang project. Contact the maintainer via the Contact page. Do not include personal information or API keys in public reports.
What data we process
Script conversion and text encoding run in your browser, so your input is not sent to this site. Chinese-English translation sends text to the provider you choose so it can return a result.
Free quota and abuse prevention
To keep the free service available, we create a one-way hash from a visitor network address and a random salt. Only the date, request count, and minute-level rate information are kept temporarily while the service runs. The original address is not written to our database.
Bring your own API key
Your key is stored only in this browser. It is sent briefly to this site when you submit a translation request, and is never written to our database. Do not keep a key on a shared device.
Google ads and cookies
After you accept advertising cookies, Google AdSense may use cookies, device information, and ad interaction data to display ads, limit frequency, and measure performance. You can decline without affecting the text tools. See the Google advertising policy for more information.
Your choices and advertising regions
Advertising scripts load only on the text tool page after acceptance and a region check. About, contact, guide, brand and legal pages do not load ads. Advertising is disabled for EEA, UK, Swiss and unknown locations until a certified CMP is configured. Cloudflare supplies the region check; we return only whether ads are available. Choices are stored separately on each hostname in this browser. Use Advertising privacy settings at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Withdrawing an active choice reloads the page to stop loaded scripts, so copy unsaved work first. This does not delete cookies already set by Google; clear browser site data to remove them.
Google and other vendors
Google and its advertising partners may use cookies for ads based on visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized ads at Google My Ad Center, or review opt-out choices at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses information from partner sites in its privacy documentation.
Third-party services
The service may use a free translation provider or a provider configured by the site. You may also choose OpenAI, OpenRouter, Gemini, or xAI with your own key. Google AdSense loads only after your consent.
Retention and deletion
You can clear browser site data to remove local API settings and advertising consent. Anonymous quota information is used only to limit abuse and is cleared when the service instance restarts.
